Spring has Sprung!

Despite the cold weather and occasional snow storms the kids all think spring has sprung. The calendar may say it is time but it sure feel cold to me. I do think Jaxon still likes the snow. Anyway, the kids enjoy going outside in the fresh air. Jason had the girls out practicing softball today. The Nelson's are also here visiting.

I was cussing Connie for this but it turned out to be a fun, cute reminder of my SWEET Abbigale and our family trip to Colorado.

We went to Colorado Springs the summer of 2005 for Andrew's baby blessing. (Janice's youngest) Abbie would have been 2 1/2. Boy does time fly, Jax is now that age. She is sitting on a rock at Pikes Peak, we got out of the car to look at the mountain goats or some animal that Jason was interested in. I absolutely hated the drive up the hill. It was a narrow dirt road up to 14,110 feet. I kept telling Jason to let me out so I could walk. I am very afraid of heights and looking over the edge just about did me in.

Fun at Karen's

We just returned from the nice warm spot of St. George. The kids love to go to Karen's, she is a wonderful hostess. With the pool heated to 90 degree's, kids to swim when ever they want, lots of toys, and goodies. We all have a really good time. Thanks Karen and Allen for putting up with us.
We were all happy to leave the 23 total inches of snow that fell a few days before. This measurement was at 5 pm on the deck. All the snow was melted and the deck was clear before our big storm. Jaxon ran Kya's 4-wheeler to the ground, Sorry Kya, hopefully it is just the battery. He went round and round the pool. He sure loved your toys. He is glad you are around "grandkid toys are the best". Jaxon wasn't sure about the swimming thing especially after Ash tried to drown him, that was it, no more swimming for Jax. (Ash didn't really drown him, he slipped as she turned and he went down but it sure is fun to tease her) Jax will even tell you he drown.There is always enough room for everyone at Karen'sAnd the reason we went to St.George, to watch Ki play ball. She did well, even with glue on her chin.
