SKAGWAY - Jeep Adventure

Our first tour in Skagway was the Jeep Adventure. Our guides were in the first and last Jeep. They guided us by CB radio's. We drove to Canada on this tour. We went off road for part. Jason was able to spin a few tires. The road was owned by a religious group that walked up the road once a year to pray. It was really neat on top. The weather was crazy, one minute rain next sun. The wind was really blowing up on top. Jason tried to say that I slept for a while on the trip but if I was asleep how did I get all these cool photo's?

Ready set go

Suspension Bridge - they said that they have a lot of earth quakes in Alaska so they use the suspension bridge to prevent it from breaking. One side is "suspended". Canada's Port of Entry

For some reason driving down the road seamed really cool!

look at the rock formationsI took this picture to show how high the snow gets, the marker at the bottom of the picture is what is used to guide snow plows and traffic because it is just one big tunnel. My picture doesn't really show how tall they are but use your imagination.
THis shows the post a little better
